The Green Pastures, Still Waters, and Black Rhythms' program delved into the tender knowledge of nature, spirit, and the body, resisting the demands of modernity. Inspired by Tricia Hersey's Nap Ministry, it explored the resistance in rest, healing in realignment, and care in communion, honouring ancestral memories and reclaiming Black rhythms of dance and connection with the land. Through landscape, spirituality, and multidimensional temporalities, the artists affirmed intentional rest as political tool for collective healing, offering a passageway to reconnect with slowness and freedom.
